Introduction:

本系沿革

食品科學系成立於民國六十九年,七十六年獲准招收雙班,七十九年興建完成一500餘坪多功能之實習加工廠,提供學生實習及研究之場所。於民國八十年成立「食品科學碩士班研究所」,並於八十二年分設食品科技組與食品工業管理組,培育高級食品科技及管理專業人才。

教育宗旨

傳授食品科學專業知識,為國家培養有愛心、有品德及負責任的食品產業技術人才。

本系特色

本系所注重化學及生物科學的基礎學科,針對食品產業發展趨勢,以食品科技專業課程為核心,以經營管理課程為輔,培育食品加工製造、食品檢驗分析、食品衛生安全、食品營養保健、食品生物技術、及食品產業經營管理等領域之專業人才。

教育目標

培育學生具備:
1.食品科學技術為主,食品生物科技及食品經營管理為輔的專業知識。
2.獨立思考及邏輯分析能力。
3.多元與持續的學習的熱忱。
4.正確的工作倫理及專業人員的責任感。
